Do I need testing for chlamydia or gonorrhea?

Treatment Available:  Gonorrhea is treated with antibiotics.  Antibiotic treatment, if taken exactly as directed, normally cures gonorrhea infections.  If antiobiotics are not taken properly, the infection will not be cured.  People infected with gonorrhea should abstain from sexual contact for at least 7 days after treatment so the medication will be effective.  Exposed sexual partners should be tested and treated even whether they are symptomatic or not.
